Spire just announced that they would support an accelerated deployment of the Myriota satellite IoT constellation thanks to the Spire nanosatellites. This partnership agreement follows the purchase of ExactEarth by Spire as Myriota and ExactEarth were already partners.
This partnership is a welcome boost to Myriota which was lagging behind all other sapce IoT players (deployment, finances…). Furthermore, this expands the product line of Spire which was dedicated so far to EO (AIS, ADS-B, weather…). Satellite IoT is very complementary to all other Spire products and opens new opportunities to the company.
So far, Spire is moving perfectly ahead!
