Kuiper to launch in 2022

Kuiper, the LEO broadband project created by Jeff Bezos, just announced it would launch its first two prototypes by end of 2022. These are prototype satellites to validate technologies and concepts. Kuiper has 6 more years under its FCC licence to send its full constellation of more than 3000 satellites.

At the moment, Starkink has more than 2000 satellites in orbit and OneWEB almost 400… Both companies are well under way for their deployment and Starlink has more than 100000 customers using its services. Kuiper at this moment seems to be way behind in this race and they will probably need to come with a different gotomarket to get their share of the cake.
