FCC authorizes Boeing to launch its constellation…

The FCC just authorized Boeing to launch its own broadband constellation of satellites. Apparently, this constellation mixes LEOs (132 sats at around 1000km of altitude) and MEO (15 sats in elliptical orbit around 30000km). The system will use V-band, which is over Ku and Ka bands used by competitors… Boeing has 6 years to launch half of its constellation, although it asked for a delay (request rejected).

Another project (although small) in the crowded mega constellation space. It is doubtfull that it will ever emerge as it starts after the pack and such projects are led by newcomers.
