Belgium enters the constellations game

Belgium company AeroSpaceLab announced that it will open a satellite “megafactory” in Charleroi. This factory will have the capacity to produce up to 500 satellites a year starting in 2025. While the OneWeb-Airbus JV has a facility in Toulouse, it is not designed for this level of production. This announcement could support the various projects that are in development in Europe: the EU broadband constellation or private initiatives that are blossoming.
