Astra plans its own constellation

In a bold move in the footsteps of SpaceX, would be launch company Astra filed at the FCC for a 13000+ satellites constellation. Astra just raised $500M via a SPAC and has enopugh cash to diversify its activities.

The FCC deadline for broadband constellation applications was November 4th, which explains the number of new projects… Astra is a rocket company and seems to think that integrating vertically as SpaceX/Stralink is a good idea. But much more cash will be needed if they want to succeed.
