Fleet Space raises additional funds

Australian satellite IoT company fleet space raised an additional $26M. This will allow the company that already has 6 satellites in orbit to hire additional staff and serve its customers.

This marks a step forward for Fleet Space although the company will probably need more money to complete its constellation. Fleet made a lot of in the past years when it announced during the 2019 The Things Networks conference a price of $2/year/device, which is comparable to terrestrial IoT. The limited offer was sold out very rapidly but it remains unclear if customers have been served.
